Mobsters is by far my FAVORITE show EVER!!! I think more modern day Cosa Nostra figures should be covered. Who are running things today. Branch out to more families other than the traditional 5 families. The Decavalcantes, The Patriarcas, etc...

Great series. Other ones I would like to see are Skinny Joey Merlino, John Larocca in Pittsburgh, Lenny Strollo in Youngstown, Zerilli in Detroit, Big Ange Lonardo in Cleveland, Patriarca, etc.

"Mobsters" is an amazing series covering the Underworld and it's movers and shakers. Looking forward to the "MadSam" DeStefano episode on Friday the 27'th, the legendary Chicago Outfit juice-loan operator! Keep up the good work and continue with further episodes of Chicago based wiseguys!

I know the Boston Irish gang was and still is notorious . Why hasn't a show been done about Raymond Patriaca Sr. ,who ran the New England mob for decades?

Love Mobtsers. Best show ever. How about something on the current dons.. Domenico Cefalu from the Gambino family ? Liborio Bellomo from the Genovese ? Or what about John "Sonny" Franzese who turns 96 today. 96 years old and still going strong.

I am currently watching the bio episode about the iceman: Richard kuklinski. I am amazed that a popular tv show, which i have watched many times, could embelish on theories from outside sources about a man ,though not a boy scout, but a contract killer for hire by the mob. I have seen both hbo interviews by kuklinski himself telling his story and also have read books on his life which matched what he said. The man was not a saint by any means but he was not a heartless murdrer getting thrills from killing people! He was a man doing a job to take care of his family! Which he kept seperate from this life! Watching the iceman talk about what he did was like talking to a dr or lawyer paying the bills! You saw emotion when he discussed his family whom he never hurt once! The ice man was not a socio-path or serial killer. He was a contracted killer for the mob! Please get you facts straight when airing a so called biography on someones life. for personally i dont agree or look up to the iceman but he deserves a fair story! serial killers and contract killers are two different species of man! Please get your facts straight! What did richard have to lose behind bars to lie about what he did! He had already lost it all by his choice in profession! More believable don't u think?

If you have, as you said, watched the HBO interviews with Richard Kuklinski, then you must have dozed off for a long stretch. He was NOT "just a contract killer" by any means. He killed his first person when he was 13 or 14 and that was a kid in his neighborhood. He also killed scores of people on his own that had absolutely nothing to do with organized crime. You say he deserves a "fair story". To say that he never "hurt his family" tells me that you don't have a clue as to what you are talking about. Sounds to me that you might be the type who chat on the internet with guys behind bars and then fall in love.

Bikers are NOT Mobsters.. they are Bikers. I'm sick of people calling all these different gangs 'Mafia'.

Naw, title is "Mobsters"; suits, class, and ruthless violence. They primay drugs nothing else and most use them thierselves while prostituting out thier own old ladies. O and yes, Nicky Barnes was with crazy joe but far from a mobster.

nicky barnes was kind of a mobster. he formed a partnership with crazy joe gallo and later matty madonna. then started a crime structure similar to la cosa nostra. it was actually known as the commission. all ideas coming directly from the italians. until he met the italians he was merely a petty thug. and also order the murder of a made man in the bonanno crime family without permission without retribution.
