Feminine symbols such as roses, butterflies, stars, and other mythical creatures like unicorn and fairies are just some of the modish womens tattoos used today. Lettering tattoo styles are popular as well which typically consists of borrowed quotations from a novel of an admired author, or a meaningful line from one’s favorite song. Classical womens tattoos such as crowns, roses, cherries, pin up girls, and even skulls are also employed for the old-school style. These traditional tattoos can be enhanced through the use of bright colors instead of the typical muted shades as well as adding a customized banner underneath the figure, which may show off the name of one’s child or pet.
Tattoo Ideas for Women - Popular Lower Back Tattoo Designs
Some of the widely held lower back tattoo ideas for women are the tribal and floral designs. Tribal figures generally reflect the culture of certain tribes such as the Samoan, Hawaiian, and Celtic patterns. Usually, the designs are drawn in thinner lines to achieve a sexier and more womanly appeal. The floral pattern, on the other hand, may consist of the delicate petals of one’s birth flowers like roses or hibiscus. Other trendy lower back tattoo ideas for women are the hearts and wings. The latter can come as sacred heart or winged heart patterns, while the former may be in a form of angel wings or butterfly wings.
Female Tattoo Designs - Nape Fashionable Styles
The written Japanese language called Kanji is one of the celebrated female tattoo designs suitable for a woman’s nape since it could readily show off mystery without too much inking. A single character of such language is already representative of a certain word or phrase in the English language such as the one that signifies strength. The Chinese language can also be a sexy option for this kind of tattoo style. Another chic pattern for the female tattoo designs are the four leaf clovers that is universally regarded as a good luck symbol. This small emblematic symbol is stained onto the nape and can be further embellished with a horseshoe or a number seven for a more remarkable lucky aura.
Alli is the 'boss lady' of Cap City Tattoo. The only female shop owner/artist in the city of Columbus, Ohio. She opened the shop a few years ago after working at many great shops throughout the country and working her butt off on the convention circuit. She's lived in more places than you have and loves her dog more than you. That last statement might possibly be true.
Alli got her start at art at an early age winning multiple window painting competitions at tender age of 4. Later going on to win her elementary wide art competition at the age of 7. With this promising start she won the GA state wide art competition her senior year of high school beating out many lowly competitors. After three semesters in art school she was promptly thrown out for not conforming to their belief that low brow doesn't equal art. Now Alli is tattooing with zeal, when weather permits, at Cap City Tattoo Co. right here in Columbus, Ohio. She enjoys ponies, romantic evenings being by herself drawing and cartoons. She is a retardedly overzealous hockey fan, bordering on fanatical. When she isn't tattooing she is thinking about tattooing or hockey or all the hockey tattoos she will probably never get to do. Alli like to tattoo neo traditions and new school as well as realistic-ish tattoos. She also specializes in cover up work.

I am a huge nerd. And no, that wasn't meant as a fat joke. I love tattooing and everything that comes along with it. I feel very honored to be able to tattoo day in and day out. Through my own nerdy admission I do read and enjoy having deep philosophical talks about ridiculous things. I find it very cool that people actually want to get tattooed by me. Feel free to stop by the shop and say what's up. Thanks for reading.
